Salvador Benedicto Mayor Hon. Jose Max Ortiz invited the College to a meeting on September 21 to discuss the details of a livelihood extension project to be launched in the Municipality.
The initial plans include technology transfer in pottery-making and food processing and preservation.
The Mayor shared that their municipality, located 2,850 feet above sea level, is abundant in produce such as pineapples and turmeric.
The role of the College shall then be to conduct training programs that will help the farmers of SB maximize their resources and improve their livelihood.
A Memorandum of Agreement is already underway.
