The four Campuses convened the faculty and staff for General Assemblies slated last June 3 for Talisay, June 4 morning for Fortune Towne and afternoon for Alijis, and June 5 for Binalbagan.
Each part of the CHMSC system has to be on-board with the Strategic Plan for 2015 to 2019, and the General Assemblies reiterated the targets that must be reached to advance to the next phase of development.
Human Resource Management Officer Dr. Maria Gelia Ong introduced the newly hired permanent and part-time faculty who are prime movers for instruction and enhancement of the College’s faculty profile.
Dr. Norberto Mangulabnan stressed the specific contributions banking on every campus’ cooperation and provided the action steps to achieve ISO Certification, to obtain or advance higher in Accreditation, and to comply with the requirements for universityhood for which a house bill has been already drafted in Congress.
The Vice-presidents for Administration and Finance, Academic Affairs, and Research and Extension, Dr. Salvador Zaragosa, Jr., Dr. Janet Espinosa, and Dr. Eduardo Sayson, respectively detailed updates in their area of jurisdiction, and commended everybody’s efforts.
The General Assemblies all ended with a Pledge of Commitment from the College Officials, faculty, and staff to realize their vision.
