The Human Resource Management Office (HRMO), through the leadership of Dr. Maria Gelia Ong, conducted a Seminar on the Duties and Responsibilities of the Personnel Manning thePublic Assistance and Complaints Desk (PACD) last January 9 at the Talisay Campus Audio-Visual Room.
Permanent General Administrative Support Services (GASS) personnel were re-oriented on the importance of the PACD, and why it must never be left unmanned, in compliance to Civil Service Commission regulations.
As Dr. Ong presented, “Satisfied employees means satisfied customers, which leads to profitability.”
She stressed that more than any audio-visual aid; the personnel are the best source of assistance for the clients, and the best people to route concerns to the proper channels.
Likewise, public trust was emphasized in the discussion of Republic Act 6713— reminding the GASS personnel of their duty to serve the clients to the best of their abilities.
